Hosts is the fourth, some might justifiably argue the fifth (see my other Repairman review...), novel in The Repairman Jack series. It doesn't paticulary carry on from events in the last book though an ongoing enemy, known both as Sal Roma or any other anagrammatical version of this name, has a large hand to play once again in setting off a potentially disastrous chain of events! Jack is on a Subway when a psycho goes crazy and starts opening fire on the passengers. Jack, who likes to keep a low profile and doesn't offically exist, is forced to act and a struggling reporter is able to commit his likeness to memory. Soon the papers are full of stories about ...
