How Do Dinosaurs Eat Their Food? - Jane Yolen ... series continues with a hilarious look at dinosaurs at dinner time! When dinosaurs eat their food, what do they do? This book runs through the gamut of mealtime bad behaviour, satisfyingly concluding with impeccably behaved dinosaur dinner guests: 'Eat up. Eat up, little dinosaur.' A sure-fire winner with parents of young children - it will be an invaluable help with meal time manners.

This is entertaining to children to read as it leaves them wondering and makes them want to carry on reading. My little boy can't read yet, but he loves me reading it to him. There are no big words and there is an obvious rhythm going on so you can get into reading it easily. It is a 29 page book and there isn't too much text on one page so it isn't too daunting for first time readers. There are n...more

My little boy has been obsessed with dinosaurs ever since he saw the night of the museum film. Now he has a brilliant collection of books, teddies and figures and I picked this up for him from woolworths when it used to be open, I think I paid about £1.99 for it which is very reasonable, and a smile from your child is priceless. How Do Dinosaurs Eat Their Food? THE STORY The story begins by asking questions about how a dinosaur eats his food. Does it belch or make rude noises? Does he pick at it, does he fuss, does he flip it in the air and goes on to ask more questions. We are then told exactly how a dinosaur does eat his food. The main part of the story is the asking questions about if the dinosaur does it a certain way and then the last few pages show us how the dinosaur sits and eats it nicely. My boys like this story and they ...  Read the complete review
