My little boy has been obsessed with dinosaurs ever since he saw the night of the museum film. Now he has a brilliant collection of books, teddies and figures and I picked this up for him from woolworths when it used to be open, I think I paid about £1.99 for it which is very reasonable, and a smile from your child is priceless.

The story begins by asking questions about how a dinosaur eats its food. Does it belch or make rude noises? Does he pick at it, does he fuss, does he flip it in the air and goes on to ask more questions.
This is entertaining to children to read as it leaves them wondering and makes them want to carry on reading. My little boy can't read yet, but he loves me reading it to him.
There are no big words and there is an obvious rhythm going on so you can get into reading it easily.

It is a 29 page book and there isn't too much text on one page so it isn't too daunting for first time readers. There are nice pictures on each page as well with pictures of people and dinosaurs

The book was written by Jane Yolen and has been illustrated by Mark Teague. She also wrote:

two very similar books that I need to get my son as they look very good.

I'd definitely recommend this book for children as it is really great to listen to or for them to read themselves, it is perfect for dinosaur loving little boys too.
