My Mam loves Gok Wan. She'll happily let the kids have their cartoons on all day, and when her husband comes home in the evening he can watch as much Star Trek as he wants. But when it's time for any of Gok's shows, my Mam takes charge of the remote. It is the one programme she has to watch each week, so naturally I had to watch it too whilst staying there. At first he kind of annoyed me, it didn't seem like my kind of thing at all. Though before long I was loving How To Look Good Naked, surprisingly as much as my Mam. I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting when Gok Wan's "How to Dress" caught my eye in the library. In a rather superficial way I enjoy watching Wan styling in his various TV shows and, if I'm honest, I'd actually rather like a bit of a session with him to get me out of my style rut (or should that be "lack of style" rut) and let me have a bit of fun for once. However, as it was a library book I decided that nothing ventured, nothing gained. Alas, this will be one of the quickest returns to the library ever.
