Description: ISBN 0091912652 / Author: Felix Dennis / Genre: Finance / Business / Career / Making money is a knack, a knack that can be acquired. And ... more
How to Get Rich - Felix Dennis ... if someone like me can become rich, then so can you - no matter what your present circumstances. Here is how I did it and what I learned along the way.' So writes Felix Dennis, who believes that almost anyone of reasonable intelligence can become rich, given sufficient motivation and application. How To Get Rich is a distillation of his business wisdom. Primarily concerned with the step-by-step creation of wealth, How To Get Rich ruthlessly dissects the business failures and financial triumphs of 'a South London lad who became rich virtually by accident'. Part manual, part memoir, part primer, this book is a template for those who are willing to stare down failure and transform their lives. Canny, infuriating, cynical and generous by turns, How To Get Rich is an invaluable guide to 'the surprisingly simple art of collecting money which already has your name on it'.

Felix Dennis - poet, bon vivant and flamboyant multimillionaire. The libertarian and creative Dennis made his name during the Oz magazine trial of the late Sixties and made his fortune in personal computing magazines during the early 80s PC revolution. Now ranked the 65th richest man in the UK according to the Sunday Times Rich List, he has nothing left to prove. Hence the frankness, honesty and good humour which characterises this book. He has ample time to cultivate his poetic leanings while sipping fine wines in his Mustique villa, and is not ashamed to admit it. In fact his witty, often insightful poetry is peppered liberally through the text. Felix, as ...  Read the complete review

Im a self confessed personal finance book fanatic. Ive read many books on the subject by authors such as Donald Trump, Robert T. Kiyosaki, Robert Allen, Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Richard Branson, and the latest being this book "How to Get Rich" by Felix Dennis. From my reading on the sudject, its quite a different book to the rest...much more realistic. Alot of personal finance books only focus on whats good about becoming wealthy which obviously glorifies the author, but this book doesnt. It doesnt pull any punches and Felix details the pitfalls, heartache and obstacles he's faced on his journey from being on the dole to being one of the ...  Read the complete review
