This is a book that clarifies how to succeed in written work and study. One of the things I like best about this book is that it starts at the beginning with how to best use the English language. It covers words and their meanings, how to write something in context, writing without ambiguity and then goes on to discuss grammer, how to construct sentences and paragraphs using punctuation correctly. Only after all this does the book get down to the nitty gritty for students: 1. How to listen and take lecture notes effectively. 2.
