Advantages: Very funny, also very useful
Disadvantages: None.
Camilla Morton is my absolute idol. She is a fantastic author and also has a highly successful career in the fashion industry. This book is her first of two "how-to" guides for women.
We are guided through a number of witty, fast faced instructions/suggestions about how to go about every day situations. Not only can you learn how to get ready in 5 minutes...you can also brush up on your bed-side manner, overcome technophobia, and become an excellent dinner party hostess!
We are also informed of the best way to climb out of a car in a mini skirt, change a tyre and play poker! What more could a girl need?
I love the dry humor Camilla Morton uses and her straight to the point attitude towards female life.
The book is also fabulously illusrated, with cutesy pictures of shoes, butterflies and handbags on every page.
For people interested in the famous fashion designer John Galliano the foreward in the beginning of the book is written by the ever famous man himself.
Not only is this book genuinely useful, but you will be laughing out loud at her addictive sense of humor.
Price wise I bought this book online for about £7 (inc. postage and packaging) which to me is a great deal! you get what you pay for after all! I have also seen the book in WHSmiths for about £8 and a while ago The Works had it in stores for £5!
Seriously you'll wonder how you ever survived without it! I would definetly recomend this book to all females!
Summary: A charming book that you won't be able to put down!
