Simon's Cat - Simon Tofield:
... since first stumbling across Simons Cat on You Tube, I have endeavored to show anyone and everyone, interested or not, the hilarious antics of this feline menace. It is beautifully animated and is spot on for how cats behave. I wait with baited breath on his next installment but would not wish upon Mr Tofield to rush as this is what undoubtedly ruins great things. This, I m thinking, is what has happened with th... Hope You'RE All Smiles... - David Halpern ... I seem to have written a few too many reviews featuring rubbishy stocking-filler type books this year - but I really am coming to the last of them, as you can tell by the fact that I am clearly scraping the barrel. Today s review focuses on a flicker-book entitled Hope You re All Smiles which has been created by D. Halpern. As I mentioned in a previous review, I used to have a fascination with flickerbooks, and found the way that static images could be transformed into an animated sequence to be a rather magical process. These days I m not so impressed, and I m looking for visually appealing and humorous titles like another of Halpern s works To the Last of the... Read the full review: Leonardo Doh! Vinci by JJJJ |

Is It Just Me or Is Everything Shit? - Alan McArthur ... of the greatest pieces of literature I have had the joy to set my eyes upon. While I would definitely not recommend it for the young or those who fail to understand simple jokes at the bar, I would definitely otherwise recommend it. Any book with a title like this invokes a sense of dread from the reader. While the title causes a few laughs you expect either some depressed teenager or 40-something person to be saying how depressing everything is. Or some over opinionated person with absolutely no backing up to any of their points. Yet Alan McArthur can back up all his points. And rather well! His made up dialogues make you laugh and the way he sees certain events c... Read the full review: Is it just me or is this a great book? by GreatFelix |

Dead Famous - Ben Elton ... when it was written this book sums up the noughties and our obsession with reality tv just by reading the bibliography i suppose you could say haha. i guess the book can be summed up as a popular dummed down sherlockesque mystery thriller, with the detective putting together the clues to find out who did the murder in the big brother house. the chronology of the story is all jumbled up going from the past to present and i initally failed to pick up how it was the present with the detectives watching the videos of the tv show that was obviously the past (sorry if that is now more confusing lol~). in a way the first half of the book allows you to catch up to whe...
