I Want My New Shoes is another book in the fantastic Little Princess series which are written by Tony Ross and seen on Channel Five. In all of the books the heroine is a very unlikely looking princess who looks very untidy and is always getting into lots of scrapes. She lives in the palace with her parents, the king and queen, and a selection of odd and eccentric other adults including a prime minister, an admiral and a general! In this story the Little Princess is given a lovely pair of very shiny red shoes.
