This is the first Novel by Minette Walters first published in 1992. Like a lot of her works this book has been televised, the others were The Sculptress and the The Scold's Bridle. Minette Walters concentrates on the crime/mystery type of books which I don't normally read and I actually quite enjoyed this book. I only read it because it was chosen in this yahoo groups book club I belong to, the others didn't think much of this book and most predicted part of the ending, I won't say which bit.
