This is Lennon's first book which was published during Beatlemania. Very different compared to his lyrics, "In his own write" is a collection of poetry, with Lennon's own illustrations. The Poetry is extremly daft, and the illustrations are very good. All of which are written the style of Lewis Carrol of "Alice in Wonderland" fame.
