This is Lennon's first book which was published during Beatlemania. Very different compared to his lyrics, "In his own write" is a collection of poetry, with Lennon's own illustrations. The Poetry is extremly daft, and the illustrations are very good. All of which are written the style of Lewis Carrol of "Alice in Wonderland" fame. I found them to be incredibly funny, they are all written in a strange illiterate way, however if they were written normally, they would certainly lose all their humour. Anybody that is easily offended than i would advise you not to read them, due to Lennon's sick sense of humour,using ...
