Imagine a historical reference book, a travel guide and cook book based around the seven deadly sins all rolled into one and you'll have a fairly good idea what 'In The Devil's Garden' is all about. Does it appeal to fans of all those genres?? Yes I think it does packed as it is with great historical facts, lush description of food and locations and off course some practical recipes although there are a few fanciful ones too.
