Life of the Gods? (Incarnations of Immortality Series - Piers Anthony in general)
Member Name: Thanos
Advantages: Good read, Great for long journeys Disadvantages: quite big, hard to understand in someplaces
This series follows the life of the incarnations. From their appointment to their Death. Each book focus' on a specific incarnation, for example "on a pale horse" follows Death. Although this may sound a bit morbid the book gives a great insight into the world of the "supernatural". The "war" between God and Satan is apparent in each book and comes to a head in the last to the series. Unlike some series that I have read, these books stay interesting right to the end. There is always something new, and the plots are never repeated. On the other hand they are quite an involving read, and are quite chunky for the average reader. I would recomend these books to any person who loves a good sci-fi read and is prepared to never want to put it down. Summary: |
