This book has to be one of the funniest books that I have ever read. It is fantastic and if you are feeling a little down with yourself then I recommend that you go and get yourself a copy of this book and it will soon blow away those dreary feelings. Read it as satire or just for its humor. Either way, you'll love it. Its a great read and you could easily finish reading it in one day unless, of course, you have to work and earn a living. How can a book start of with the main character going on holiday and by the end all hell has broken loose? The answer is simple, Tom Sharpe's the author. Following on from Riotous Assembly this returns us to the mixed up capital of Zululand Piemburg. To describe this book would take the fun out of discovering the magic for yourself. Basically (if only) the book follows the exploits of Kommandant Van Heerden and the Piemburg police. One of the best parts is where Verkramp (Luitenant of Piemburg police and also working for BOSS) is trying to alter the sexual leanings of the konstabels.
