I read this book in the early eighties,and really enjoyed it .So with the recent death of Sir Fred Hoyle,I thought I would read this again. I am very interested in Astronomy and Astro- Physics ,and I think you need to be to enjoy this book . The authors give you a fly on the wall view,of a group of scientists ,and how they interact in their personal lives and each other ,their differences,and sqabbles. The story is is seen through the eyes of one Astro physicist,surnamed Cameron a scotsman,that doesnt suffer fools gladly.
