The Nursing Home Murder - Ngaio Marsh
The usual strong plot from Ngaio Marsh
Slightly contrived ending
The Murder Exchange - Simon Kernick
Lots of attention to detail and great dual plot.
Some bits are not needed in the story and do not add anything.
Mere Anarchy - Woody Allen
funny, witty, silly, quirky
a bit of an overdose
|The Moon and Sixpence - Somerset Maugham - Classic Literature - Maugham, Somerset||Mildred Pierce - James M. Cain|

A bit cliched
Blood Runs Cold - Alex Barclay
Hmmm... some initially funny characters that are soon relegated to second fiddle
Becomes bogged down with sub-plot and conspiracy!

If you like this sort of thing, it's quite fun
If you bristle at the idea of someone very nearly getting away with cheating, you'll hate it

A brilliantly written book by all standards
