Advantages: Captivating and incredibly easy to read

Disadvantages: It ended, i could have read on forever

Insomnia is so amazing it even rivals IT as one of Kings all time best novels. It is breathe taking and captivating and page-turningly impossible to put down. The characters are engaging and life-like, typical of every good King book I have ever read and whats more is that they are loveable!
The plot is original, captivating and complex and utterly brilliant. It centres around an old man who is gradually losing more and more sleep until after many hours of sleep deprivation he begins to see the world in a horrific new light. Not to give too much away the book introduces many intriging concepts about life and death and why things turn out the way they do.
Its hard to explain the plot without going off on a rant and i also dont to spoil the book. The characters discover the powers that BE in the universe and their minions that execute death over us mere mortals and then go off on a mission to save the world from certain doom. Its all very complicated but fascinating...the only thing i can say is read it for yourself, dont take my word for it.
If you are a King fan, Insomnia is an unmissable read, its classy and witty and terrifing all at once. But i warn you it is almost impossible to put down as it flows so easily and every chapter leaves you gasping for more.....
