"Is it bedtime, Wibbly Pig?" A bedtime favorite of my little man this book sums up the bedtime routine we go through most nights and I'm sure I'm not alone....ANY excuse to stay up 5 more minutes ! We find our friend Wibbly Pig in the bath and the tale opens with " Is it bedtime Wibbly Pig ? " to which he replies "No, silly I'm still in the bath ! " then hes drying his toes...going toilet, reading a story, having a drink, brushing his teeth, counting the stairs on the way to bed.. ***Background*** Mick Inkpen is well known for his Kipper and Wibbly Pig series of books and of course the television series of Kipper too. His lovely gentle stories and beautiful illustrations are fantastic and young children love them. ***The Story*** The story starts with, "Is it bedtime, Wibbly Pig? No silly! I'm still in the bath!" Throughout the book Wibbly Pig is asked questions but he seems to have an answer for every question and it's always 'No!'
