Like many people born in the 80s, I was aware of Bruce Springsteen (thanks to my Dad's CD collection), but had never really listened to any of his music. Thanks to his recent performance at Glastonbury, it appears to have opened up his music collection to a new audience of a younger generation, while maintaining the old fans. Before really giving the music of Bruce Springsteen a real listen, I wanted to read about what the phenomenon of Bruce Springsteen was like when he really imposed himself on American culture in the 70s and 80s.
