Newest Review: ... one part of this book which made me laugh out loud was when a model was quoted - a model who has been on the cover of every ... more  ... magazine from "That's Life" to "Bella" - er, hang on a minute, That's Life and Bella are made by the same company, and they are pretty much the same magazine. It's hardly the diversity of appearing on everything from "The Economist" to "Just Seventeen"!
---And onto the book---
First things first the dust jacket was removed (for once I was thankful to have a hardback book) so I didn't have to look at Jade's face. Then a substitute book was put into my bag to quickly swap boo...more |

---Introduction--- Those who know me will know that I am an avid reader, and they will also know that there is a charity book list at work where we buy books for 25p, read them and give them back unless we want to keep them. Having already stooped to levels I thought I'd never stoop to by reading not only Jodie Marsh's autobiography but also Jordan's, I thought I could sink no lower....I was wrong. The booklist lady saw "Jade's World" (a biography of ex-Big Brother housemate Jade Goody) and thought of me. That says a lot really. Well-written, sympathetic, and with some good pictures. 
Some of the anecdotes he records are cruel. describes the ins and outs of the music industry, very personal insight some parts are quite emotional The funny parts are hilarious, some interesting cultural snippets Too much unnecessary political stuff; unlikeable author Good cricket read Criicket fans only a good read and some amusing stories Sir Gawain and the Green Knight - Bernard O'Donoghue
