 ... imagine some intelligent 10 or 11 year old boys enjoying this. This is really a book mostly aimed at the guys although girls who aren't squeamish about violence will enjoy it too. However it is not one of those books like the Harry Potter series where adults will enjoy it as much as kids; this is strictly teen fiction. The book is quite well written and certainly gripping although at times the constant action and movement from one moment of peril to another can get a little wearying. Chaos Unleashed tells the story of troubled young Jake Highfield, who has been in and out of foster homes for years. At age 11 he is recruited to a spy academy masquerading as a boarding school and becomes secret agent `Chaos'. However all is not well at the academy and Jake finds himself struggling against various enemies as he tries to figure out the secrets behind the school. The cover of this book states that it is aimed at 12 years and above. I would say this is reasonably accurate though the age range may dip slightly lower for boys as I could imagine some intelligent 10 or 11 year old boys enjoying this.
