This book is a great present for just about anyone. If you have a family or your a student your going to be able to put this book to good use.

I enjoy cooking simple and quick healthy meals however most recipe books I find seem to be quite extravagant meals for entertaining or some of the ingredients are too expensive or need to be specially bought. This book is different as it has loads of recipes that you are more than likely going to have the ingredients for already. So you dont need to plan your meal in advance which I find very useful. For example I have made the tagliettelle pesto and pasta on more than one occassion when I've realised I didnt have much food in the house but fancied something a bit more healthier than a frozen pizza.

It brilliant how it teaches how to make simple sauces that can be used for a variety of meals. Eventually I began to experiment with the recipes and start making recipes based on the tips in the book but adding and improvising with other ingredients.

Summary: a fantastic present for anyone
