Cant recommend enough. The best literary classic out there!

My favourite novel of all time! Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre is not only a literary classic but a must read. It has a bit of everything within its twisting plot. For those that love a good romance it has that in bucket loads but it is so much more than that. It also has striking gothic elements and most importantly is the tale of a young girl finding her place in the world.
It tells the story of an impoverished orphan called Jane Eyre who is disowned by her cruel aunt and cousins and sent to live at lowood school. Jane endures hardship and cruelty here too but through her journey her character develops until she accepts a position as a tutor to a young girl called Adele the ward of Mr Edward Fairfax Rochester and goes to live at Thornfield Hall. But all is not as it seems. What is the dark secret Mr Rochester is hiding? Who or what else lurks in Thornfield Hall?
Mr Rochester is gruff and imtimidating but Jane stands her ground and in doing so proves herself to be his equal. Mr Rochester's admiration of her is naively missed by Jane but as Mr Rochester and Jane grow closer will she discover the truth behind the sinister goings on and will this ruin everything?
This fabulously gothic story has been the subject of several tv and movie adaptations with varying degrees of success, but ultimately nothing beats the book and the power of the readers imagination.
