I believe it must be a rare person on this planet who has not heard of Berlitz and know that they are a major player in the field of foreign language instruction. My first encounter with Berlitz was when I was 13. I was in junior high and desperately wanted to take French. My school had dropped foreign languages that year and told me I had to wait a further two years to get to senior high school, as the senior highs all had foreign language classes.
