There have been many biographies of John F Kennedy; this one has substantial new information to work on. That information is medical records recently released by the Kennedy estate. These bring a rather frightening clarity to the health problems which plagued him all through life; inept treatment for one condition early on probably triggered all sorts of other problems. Although these were not immediately life-threatening it is inconceivable nowadays that they would have been hidden from the public - as were Kennedy's extramarital affairs - and that someone suffering from them would have been allowed anywhere near major office.
