I just finished reading this last night; I couldn't go to sleep until I read the last 3 chapters. The story is about two missing girls, the abduction of whom follows a pattern, which goes back over fifteen years each missing child’s body being discovered on Christmas Day. The race is on to find them before they turn up dead. One of the missing children all those years ago was the twin sister of the investigating officer Rouge Kendall, a crime for which the local reverend was convicted, bringing back ghosts from the past. All the way through I found myself pleading with the children involved to be strong and the parents to hold themselves together. O'Connell leaves you guessing all the way through about "who done it" and although there are lots of clues, there are plenty of suprises and a very clever twist at the end. When I finished this book I found myself thinking about it for days! ... Read the complete review
