I’ve been reading JLA since mid way through the Grant Morrison run. I was so blown away be the scope of Morrison’s stories that I went out and bought all the collected paperbacks for the issues that I had missed. When he left the book, I thought he would be sorely missed and that JLA once might more be relegated from my standing order at the comic shop. Then I heard Mark Waid was coming on board. The trade pressed raved. Fans raved. Not having read much of Mark Waid’s stuff before .. I waited to see what he was going to do with the one comic that I always saved till last to read. Interesting character, One of DCU's "big guns" Not enough actionHit and miss execution

Misanthropic, Nasty, British GruesomeGoryScary

An attempt at producing something unique, Frequent cross overs with the rest of the Bat Family Difficult to empathise with the character

Wolverine, Electra, vast hoardes of undead ninjas, Captain America and battles galore none-the action roars across the page so fast it leaves scorch marks on your fingertips

More exciting than the first book, due to popular demand. Pressure from above interferes with Alan Moore's creative vision.

Hilarious archaic dialogue from the defenders of Blighty. Humour won't be to everyone's taste, particularly those who are easily offended or too sensible.
