Its good to see that this book has been reprinted for a new generation of readers. I first read it several years back (I won't say how long because I don't wish to reveal my age!) The writer (Wilson) clevery takes the basic Transylvanian legends so as to create a new mythology and in my opinion one could hardler have done much better - it makes superb reading To give you a brief idea of what the story is about: The story is based during the World War II when a group of German soldiers are sent to 'The Keep'.
