Premium Review Keeping the Dead - Tess Gerritsen: Mummies, shrunken heads and murder! (768 words)
by - written on 26/11/09 (Very useful, 70 readings)
Rating:

Tess Gerritsen is a veteran author of several "nasty, grisly, gripping murder books". Her background is in pathology / anthropology and she worked for many years as a medical examiner. It is no surprise that one of her main characters Maura Isles is a pathologist working on murder cases for the police department. I've been reviewing a few crime/thriller novels lately as it's a genre I'm really getting into at the moment, and I was keen to read this book having already read & reviewed two other Gerritsen novels (including The Surgeon & The Memphisto Club). Gerritsen is a superb author, and it's reassuring to think that whatever book of hers I pick up I will be able to get ...  Read the complete review
