In our house you can judge the usefulness of a recipe book by quite how food splattered the pages are, and this book, which we have had for over a year now has certainly got a few battle scars. "Kids Kitchen" is quite simply an excellent recipe book, the blurb on the cover sums it up perfectly "100 yummy no-knives, heat-safe recipes that children can really make". Both my small daughters are very keen to get out there in the kitchen and help Mummy or Daddy with cooking so I am always on the look out for interesting cookery books which are aimed at children. I discovered this one - Kid's Kitchen' - through The Book People and it's a great one for encouraging children to want to cook and provides ideas for interesting meals which children should enjoy. Also, with all the ready meal options available, I think it's also important to share the skills of cooking with our children otherwise it is in danger of becoming a dying art!
