Advantages: Great fun, really challenging.

Disadvantages: Only for those confident with Su Duko.

Having been a Su Duko fan for some time and building up to completeing all thebooks I could get my hands on I decided I wanted a new challenge, however stil being addicted to SuDuko I did not want to go to far from the number game.

I came across this book being advertised in the times whilst I was doing one of their puzzles and decided to treat myself. I have normally steered away from Su Duko variations as they just never seem quite as good as the real thing, but this version stayed pretty true to the original, yet with some new challenges.

Killer Su Duko is still a number game, you still have to get the numbers 1-9 in each box, column and row, with no repititions, however this adds some challenges. For a start all the boxes are empty. The grid starts with no numbers in what so ever. Also a few boxes here and there are cordoned off with dotted lines. In the very corner a number is given which the numbers put in that box have to add up to, whilst complying with all the original rules still.

Killer Su Duko is obviously much harder than original Su Duko, so it is not for those who do not like adding and subtracting along with counting. However, with the higher challenge comes the higher reward, as they are lot more enjoyable.

The book itself is set out like a regular Su Duko book. It has sections for each easy medium and hard and has the answers at the back so you can check how you have done.

This is not for the faint hearted!

Summary: Great fun, once you can do them.
