Stephen King has to be my favourite author. I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of his books, and have never yet been disappointed by one of them.

He has a knack of taking everyday fears and turning them into your worst nightmares. He scares and thrills the readers, as well as making them think. He is imaginative and creative, and if you like horror, but have never read Stephen King, then where have you been?

Stephen King is the undisputed King of the horror story. Never has an author had so apt a name. Although his writing would not suit all tastes, I would strongly recommend his works to anyone who enjoys horror stories.

He is one of the few authors whose books I read over and over again, always with the same amount of enjoyment.
