Sophie Kinsella is brilliant in capturing the everyday women. Although, most are not that neurotic with shopping. But it does capture the shopping habits of women in general. I love it. I've read all four of the Shopaholic Series and it is brilliant!! (Confession of a Shopaholic, Shopaholic Takes Manhattan, Shopaholic Ties the Knot, and Shopaholic and Sister.) I cannot put the book down! I laugh, shake my head, and just have happy thoughts when reading the book. ^^^^^^^^ Shopaholic And Sister - Sophie Kinsella ^^^^^^^^ The only reason I ever buy books in shops at full price, rather than ordering them off the Internet, is if they're by one of my favourite authors, or I'm just desperate for something to read. This book fits into both those categories - I like the Shopaholic series and I bought it while at the airport waiting to board a 7 and a half hour flight over here, which is as important a time as any to have a book with you. I didn't know this book had been published yet when I saw it on the shelf, but a quick check on Amazon tells me it's not out in mainstream paperback yet. I bought an airport ...

The books she writes are formulaic, leave your brain at home books and are certainly never going to win any literary awards or become classics that poor school kids and students have to read in a 100 years time but I have to admit I like them.
