Introduce any toddler to the stories of Kipper and I guarantee they will fall in love with him- my daughter certainly did!

My husband first bought our daughter a Kipper book and toy set from the book club at his work - it included the book Kipper, a soft toy, a blanket and a special presentation box to put it all in. I think it cost about £9.99 but it was well worth it. The book itself consisted of around 15 pages of hardback book, beautifully illustrated throughout.

Our daughter was immediately intrigued by the idea that Kipper could "go to sleep" under his own blanket in his own bed / box!

The story itself revolves around the loveable dog Kipper who decided that it is time to tidy his basket and throws away all his moth eaten, dirty and chewed toys and blanket. He then has to try and find somewhere else to sleep, as his basket is too uncomfortable without any of his old favourite toys and blanket. The story culminates a warm, fluffy ending involving Kipper nodding off in his old basket - which makes it a perfect story for bedtime.

If you little one enjoys this book, introduce them to other Mick Inkpen books involving Kipper and his friends - Kipper & Roly is a firm favourite in our house!
