I recently borrowed Kipper's snowy day story book from my local sure start centre as over the last few months she has gone Kipper mad. Kipper books are about a loveable dog and the adventures of him and quite often include his friend tiger, who is also a dog. The books are written by Mick Inkpen who also writes the wibbly pig books. The book are beautifully written and have fantastic drawings of kipper and friends. This book is about the wonder of snow and all the types of things children enjoy doing when we do indeed get some. Another day in the life of Kipper the adorable dog and his friend. In this book Kipper wakes up to find that it has been snowing. Kipper excitedly grabs his scarf and rushes outside. he makes tracks across his garden and makes Kipper shapes on the ground, then he goes off to find his best friend Tiger (also a dog). Tiger is well wrapped up in hat, scarf and gloves, and tells Kipper that the snow won't last. Kipper does not want to hear this so he pelts Tiger with snowballs.
