Kipper notices that his toy box has a hole in it, kipper is worried by this so he takes all of his toys out of the box to make sure that all of them are ok and still there, to kippers surprise the numbers dont add up, no one is missing but he has an extra one. Kipper counts again and again and again and each time comes up with a different number.

Kipper discovers that the hole in his toy box which is actually just a card board box has been made by two mice who have been sleeping in there, kipper makes a deal with the mice that if they promise not to chew up anything else they can sleep in his bed with him and they agree.

We all know that mice breed like wild fire and soon kipper finds himself over run with them but this is not his only problem, the baby mice are not so fond of keeping to there parents deal with kipper and chew everything.

This book is a great story for young children, it has 30 pages with lovely pictures and is ideal as a bed time read.

Summary: a lovely story
