Good historical detail Too long, villains a bit pantomime, didn't always feel believable

Authentic look at 1830's London, England. So rich you can almost smell it... Ends a little abruptly and a little unconclusively....

Better defined characters, tighter plotting, very readable Still very superficial, instantly forgettable, some daft bits to the plot

Historically accurate mystery thriller. None for me, but there may be too much historic detail for some.
