Although Nicky Epstein is an accomplished knitwear designer I had never come across any of her books until I started searching for some `Barbie doll` knitting patterns so that I could knit some stocking fillers for my niece. Nicky Epstein s work has by all accounts been shown in the Vogue fashion magazine and Nicky herself does occasionally hold exhibitions.
