Advantages: Pretty much completely unravels the enigma that is Kylie.

Disadvantages: None at all.

Kylie: Story Of A Survivor isn't quite what I'd call an autobiography, but it almost reads like one.

The book is a wonderful insight into the life of one of the most prominent and media savvy figures in the world of pop and showbiz - Kylie Minogue.
In here you will find everything you need to know about Miss Minogue, detailing her career from starting out in The Henderson Kids at a young age, to moving onto Neighbours and her transition from acting into the music business.
It tracks the path of how she was initially taken under PWL's wing and released three successful studio albums with them, and another. She then joined DeConstruction, which back then had a reputation for being a credible dance and indie record label.
After this unsuccessful period of self discovery, Kylie returned to her pop roots for what was one of the most triumphant and victorious comebacks in pop history.

Aside from splendiferous details of her career, it also provides a very detailed insight into her life; such as her relationships, her dad's control of her finances, her property buying to name but a few.
Also included are candid accounts from associates of Kylie, some being past boyfriends, others being people who have met her either at events, working for her or fans, and some from Kylie herself.
You will also find a picture section around the middle with various photos and video screenshots of Kylie.

The book also goes to show that she is a totally down to earth celebrity, that she is a warm and humourous person and shows how hard she strived for her success and longevity.

This book is a must read for any existing fan, or anyone who wants to know more about the diminutive pop princess that is Kylie Minogue.
