Disadvantages: Reuses idea from T.v show

An offshoot book from the Red dwarf TV series. It is written by only one of the original partnership. This is a bit confusing as Rob Grant has also written a book which covers the same point in time but has a completely different story. Never mind just think alternate Universes or something. This is about how Lister and the gang find another starbug in another dimension. Everyone is dead except Lister who has been taken prisoner and put in a virtual prison which manifests your worse case scenario. Our gang decide to go and rescue the other Lister. This turns out to be a mistake but I won’t spoil it anymore. This has some funny parts in and captures the spirit of the show well. It is also a good tale in its own right. All Red Dwarf fans should read it and maybe those who aren’t fans should as well.

I found that the Red Dwarf books expanded on the series, taking you where they would have been hard pressed to get you in the TV series. :-)

I have read the book also and this is quite a good summary if not a little succinct - try to write a bit more next time but OK for a beginner
