We see Nick sitting in a tower block outside the houses of Parliament, his mission is to aid three snipers to take out an important person, that’s all he is told. No doubt he is shocked when he realises that his subject is just a teenager. This forces Nick to question his orders and prevent the snipers from killing their victim. I love the way Mcnab implements suspense in his books, every moment is spent in fear of wha...more

Premium Review Last Light - Andy McNab: Last Light, Mcnab's best book so far (371 words)
by - written on 18/12/02 (Useful, 144 readings)
Rating:

Last light is, in my opinion, the best book Andy Mcnab has written so far. He's had a long line of bestsellers but this combines everything we've seen so far. I chose Last Light, it's only just out and I don't know if it's moved from the hardback version I've got yet. The book centres on Nick Stone. He is the 'operator' who is plunged into a web of conspiracy, violence and the drug trade after a certain ...  Read the complete review
