The book takes the reader from Elvis childhood through the early days of fame up until 1958 when he entered the army for an 18-month term. We are shown a kind, considerate, caring man - really a boy - whose life becomes overtaken by fame and who is never really sure how...more

Story of a football icon Long windedToo many statistics

An extraordinary insight into Ian Curtis behind traditional press, and the band that aided his success. Includes complete and unseen lyrics, photos, discography and gig list A tad short and disposable, and can from a viewpoint be seen as possibly one-dimensional. Not a read for those who give great reverence to Ian Curtis

Interesting None!

A handy read and insight into how it began; cheap prices A few annoying traits of constant put downs for other manufacturers

A fascinating, thought-provoking and beautifully-written book Not a book for the faint-hearted

Lots of never seen before photos., Insight into the history of the band, May appeal to non rock music fans. ExpensiveOnly available in hardback
