One of the best horror writers around. He is the author of many accalimed works of horror and suspense, including The Cellar, The Stake, Savage bite and Fiends. He has also wrote many short stories. His books have kept me riveted and I tend to get through them very quickly, many I have re-read. If you like Steven King and Dean Koontz, you will LOVE Richard Laymon.

As soon as you open one of his books, you will be thoroughly engrossed and will not want to put it down until you have finished. Then you'll go rushing out for another! His books are always on my list for presents.
