As a big Danielle Steel fan, I usually buy each of her books soon after their release in paperback, and always read them the same day. I bought 'Granny Dan' on my lunch break one day last week, and read it after work. It starts off with a woman remembering her grandmother. Danina Petroskova, who she always called Granny Dan.
