The best £20 that I have ever spent was spent on a book called Advanced Leisure and Tourism for GNVQ. Commonly known at Reigate College as 'The Red Book'. It has saved my behind and the behind of many others on my GNVQ course many-a-time! It have units 1 to 8, with all of the information you need to know, in order and in plan English, and although you're not allowed to copy straight from books, it certainly boosts your train of thought on the subject and 99% of the time will get you on a typing roll! :o) There are lots of simple diagrams, helpful photos...but the cartoons are a little...shall we say...c**p.
