Exciting, day glo, 60s novel Hard to findToo operatic for some

sweeping story, , brilliant characters, , profound themes both local and universal strangely chiselled language

A good premise.... ...that didn't deliver

Simply the greatest thriller I have ever read in my life if only for it's explosive and shocking cli The series never quite matched the potential set here though the next 5 books are still cracking

Quite a good plot and some of the characters are good Bit confusing, too many characters
