I have travelled thousands and thousands of miles. Cycled round the world twice, walked through rain forests, been imprisoned, poisoned, and confronted by dangerous animals. All of the above was attempted whilst still sitting in the comfort of my armchair. Ok, confession time, I put my hands up I am a travelogue junkie. My bookshelves are filled with books about those who do what I would not dare to. My habit started many many years ago when after moaning about how bored I was, how I never went any where etc..
