Very creepy, disturbing and aims to challenge established perspectives of our society May be a bit too strange for some...

A readable love story with a twist, sprinkled with Murakami's ace signature trademark elements - plus good translation A little bit formulaic and grey, and ends abruptly. Not a new love venture for Murakami at all, and it's not one of his best works overall

short & funny none

A good, fun, easy read Not so accessible to those with no knowledge of the professional world

Readable, great characters I want to go out and spend a fortune on clothes now!

Great characters, good depiction of the era dreary and depressing at times, some scenes I found uncomfertable to read.
