The joy that the inseparable pair feel when playing with each other and the sheer loneliness and sadness felt by Jim as he desperately seeks out his Mum. As the title of the book implies this is a very simple story about a baby elephant called Jim who lived with his Mum in the Jungle. Jim and his Mum did everything together and they were never without each other until one day they decided to play hide and seek............. During the game, Jim got lost. He hunted high and low for his Mum: among the thick leaves, in the long grass, on the high mountains and in the deep river.
