Advantages: A fun little characters

The Little Miss series were a success from the moment they were published and remain firm children's favourites today. The Little Miss series contains 33 books. The first 30 books were written by the series' creator Roger Hargreaves and the final three by his son Adam. Little Miss Whoops in number 13 in the series and is another Little Miss name that my parents have taken to calling me over the years.
The front cover of the book is like all the others in the Little Miss series as well as those in the Mr Men series. It is white with the characters name 'Little Miss Chatterbox' written in bold black capitals along the top. Below this is a picture of Little Miss Chatterbox herself. She is sort of half moon in shape and a bold pink in colour. She has bright yellow hair and wears a pair of blue and white trainers. She also has a very big mouth.
On the reverse of this book are much smaller pictures of all the other characters in the Little Miss Series with their respective names and numbers underneath them. In my opinion this is a really good feature because it enables the reader to easily keep track of which books they have read and which ones they would like to read next.
***THE STORY***
Little Miss Chatterbox talked more than lot. In fancy he never stopped, as she even talked in her sleep. One day Little Miss Chatterbox decided to get herself a job. She managed this easily and took up her post in a bank. Now one Monday morning Mr Happy went to the bank to cash a cheque and guess who was at the counter. Yes you guessed it, Little Miss Chatterbox. Unfortunately for Mr Happy, Little Miss Chatterbox spoke so much that the bank had closed before he could cash his cheque. Needless to say Little Miss Chatterbox was fired.
The rest of the book then focuses on Little Miss Chatterbox's quest to find the perfect job. But is there such a thing as a prefect job for a chatterbox like Little Miss Chatterbox and if so what will it be?
****MY THOUGHTS****
In my opinion this book is a fantastic addition to the Little Miss library. It is relatively humorous and so easily keeps children entertained. Furthermore the book isn't too long and so can be read within 5 minutes making it perfect for bedtime.
Each double page spread within the book contains writing on the left hand side and bright, colourful and often amusing pictures on the right hand side. The frequent pictures allow really young children to not only listen to the story but also to follow the story through the wonderfully illustrations and because this story contains other characters from both the Mr Men and Little Miss series young children will have fun spotting them in the pictures.
I would definitely recommend Little Miss Chatterbox to anyone who has read other Little miss/Mr Men books or to those who are just starting out on the Mr Men train of discovery. Just trust me when I say that once you board you won't be getting off for a long while.
